How To Update Your Highlight for the Summer

Your beach tan calls for a whole new routine, girlfriend

How to highlight with Make Up For Ever Face Artist palette

It's no surprise that for someone as over the top as myself, highlighting would be my favorite beauty trend—and boy are there a lot of beauty trends for it to compete against. Time and time again I find myself picking up shimmery champagne-gold colors to make my cheekbones, cupid's bow, nose, brow bone (my whole, face, TBH) pop, as the gurus call it. With the new customizable Make Up For Ever Artist Face Color palette, I tried something new though—a bronze, coppery highlight.

This entire trio made for an all out bronzed look that I usually don't go for, but after I blended the three together (highlight, contour, then blush, as recommended by the Make Up For Ever artists), I came out with a look that makes the most of my summer tan. Side note: OMG SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN I DON'T WANT MY TAN TO GO AWAY.

I received this palette complimentary of MUFE and Influenster, and as always, these are my honest opinions.
